Inhalation study for Baytubes
The preliminary results of the first acute inhalation for Baytubes will be shown during the forthcoming SOT 2008 annual meeting in Seattle, (Wa), USA in March 2008. As all previous investigations regarding the safety of Baytubes commissioned by Bayer MaterialScience, this extensive test has also been done according to OECD guidelines, observing GLP standards. Prof. Pauluhn of Bayer HealthCare, in charge of the inhalation investigations, will be present in Seattle to answer questions from stakeholders.
The above mentioned test is the latest in a series of tests regarding the safety of Baytubes. Bayer MaterialScience will conduct further investigations as necessary to ensure the safe use and handling of Baytubes, in line with its Product Stewardship program.
