New Development Center for Baytubes® in Thermoplastic Compounds

Dr. Udo Duenger
Bayer MaterialScience has established a new development center for Baytubes® in thermoplastic compounds. The new set-up, located in Leverkusen, is headed by Dr. Udo Duenger. The laboratory comprises state of the art compounding, injection molding and analytical equipment.
"The new facility gives us the opportunity to collaborate even closer with our customers in order to enhance support and speed up development work. In addition, it helps us to improve our product Baytubes® according to requests from the market." says Dr. Heiko Hocke, Business Development Baytubes®.
Baytubes®, provided by Bayer MaterialScience, are agglomerates of pure multi wall carbon nanotubes (MWCNT).
MWCNT can be used in various applications e.g. as electrical conductive additive in polymers for packaging, automotive and other industries.
